It snowed on Tuesday. The prediction was that it was going to be a huge storm, lasting from the afternoon rush through the morning rush hour on Wednesday. The plows went out, the salt trucks went out - and by 10 PM on Tuesday, most of the snow from the storm had already fallen. Still the plows were out, at least for a while - and still the salt trucks were out - and enough salt got dumped on the roads that they were white Wednesday morning not from snow, but from salt. It stuck. Everywhere.
I came out to get lunch Wednesday afternoon and found my dark blue truck was WHITE!
By the time I took this picture three days later, much of the startling effect had already worn off...
